Reports

The Book A Flight system has a “Reports” menu option with a base set of standard reports. This is accessed from the Reports icon on the main menu. The reports menu option is accessible to anyone who holds the new “VIEW_REPORTS” security key, which has initially been given to the administrators group. Please add this security key to other groups or to individual member records as required.

There are initially 5 base reports in the system, however further reports can be added as required – please contact Book A Flight to discuss your requirements if you need further reports.

All reports have a starting date and an ending date and then the report produces a summary of information for this date range.

The reports are all self explanatory, with the exception of the two “Instruction...” reports. These reports include a field called “Category” which has values of “BRIEF” and “INSTRUCT”. All lines with category “BRIEF” are ground school instruction (i.e. the booking was for a student and an instructor, but no aircraft) All lines with category “INSTRUCT” were created during a “flight” (including “briefing” time added to a flight invoice).
