The system of Red and Green Tagging Members and Instructors provides a means of checking that each pilot has met all the requirements to utilize club aircraft. This includes both CAA and Club requirements, such as:
- Account settled up to date
- Membership valid
- Weather checked
- Pilot licence valid
- Medical valid
- Currency requirements met
- Safety meetings attended
- Club NOTAMS read and confirmed
- ATC Notams read
No pilot who is Red Tagged may undertake a flight; the system will prevent such a pilot completing an Authorization Sheet. The pilot can amend his status using the Red Tag System.
