The Booking Sheet

The Booking Sheet is generally the first interface into the Book a Flight system. It can be viewed whether you are logged in or not, and provides a general overview of facilities, bookings and availability for the selected period. Understanding the layout of the booking page makes for easy interpretation of this information.

Booking Sheet Layout

The bulk of the Booking Sheet is made up of a table listing the aircraft, the staff and the facilities (such as meeting rooms) that are available for hire. For ease of navigation, there is a gap between each section of the table. This generally contains some useful information for users of the system. For example, at Cape Town Flying Club, the latest METAR and TAF for FACT appear in these gaps.

Across the page, the sheet is divided into timeslots. Bookings may span more than one timeslot.
